I didn't think a 360 was in these cars. Just 383's and 440's?

In 1971 360 & 383 for the newport..
In the third picture you see the 360.

Nice car.....

$12.5k for a 360 with 87,000 miles? I think not!

The new-for-1971 Chrysler (Newport) Royal was an entry-level model that came with the 360, to compete with similarly equipped GM cars. It was the first time that a small-block engine was offered in a Chrysler after... ummm... many years?

OK... Then how much? I value a car with original metal and no rust and place said car in the higher valued cars.

My problem with this car is the seat. Why is it leaning so far back?

Depends on the market it is offered in. Out my way it would still be for sale for a long time at half that price. I am have been watching cars that have been for sale going on two years now. One reason would be priced too high for this market and people don't care. Talking mainly mid-60 up to 1980. The other group are between 1950-1958 and haven't sold after two years now. Their problem is the original owner is dead, the owner's son is dead, some of the grandsons are dead, and the great grandsons never knew great granddad much less what he drove and could care less anyway. For those ordinary cars their time for selling has passed even at $2-$4.5K. One problem they are not Chevy's.
