Dealership in Oak Lawn, IL. Claimed 26K miles. 383 2-bbl. Screwed up the wheelcovers, but that looks like a minor nit. Start bid at $2K. Air, AM, PS & PB. Says new timing chain and gears - a repair common for a car with 126K miles. New seat covers and carpet, too. Curious for a claimed 26K car. Appears to be a car being auctioned for a charity. Not a bad-looking car, but I'm gonna go with 128K miles. You guys???

I'm suspicious too. There is not one picture of the engine compartment or the underside. The seller also does not utilize pictures that you can hover over and enlarge for close looks.

This is ONE pic of under the hood.

Oops, looks like I paid more attention to the top photos and didn't notice the slide show below. Did notice all the numbers on the odometer are raised upwards from the center line.

And the steering wheel is from a 74 and up model...............................

Strange seat pattern, not that I know of original.

Shabby Overall look with a screw in the rocker Panel molding. Don't believe the claimed mileage.

I'm with 126K miles on this one. No way in hell is that 26K. Not with replacing the interior coverings, timing chain and gears, and more. Nice car, but in no way is it 26K miles. I like the non-stock interior seat pattern. Looks like they took oven cleaner to the wheel covers and blew all of the paint/anodizing off them. Shame, because that finish is hard to duplicate.

Didn't find that pattern in the brochure I looked at. I stand corrected, still not overly impressed.

It's got some nice options and it's a good looking car...........but
the Dealer web site lists the Monaco for $10,995.00..........ouch!
I also noticed it's missing the pinstripe on both front fenders. Front clip may have been repainted.
