WANTED 1971 MONACO FENDER TAGS

Someone came across my 71 Monaco in 2012-Early 2013 @
Circle Auto Recycling
4855 Puddledock Rd
Prince George, VA 23875
The fender tags are gone. I would like the opportunity if at all possible for the tags to be returned. Slim chance but worth a shot.

Judging by the parts I was told that were initially missing...who ever has my tags was building a SFGT

Yes, but Dave hasn't shown any penchant for fender tag collecting that I've heard of. At least, none that aren't still attached to a fender.

I had a bad habit of collecting them. Trev has since changed my mind for the exact reason of why I am looking for my tags. You never know.

I was keeping them as a document of them existing...I probably have a stack of 25 or so.

I assume my tags are just sitting somewhere like my collection of them. Tags are useless unless you got the VIN too.

I was saying using the wrong tag is useless unless you have a vin to match it. In response to critters tag swapping comment.

I have to say that I bought the fender tag from a 71 SFGT that I knew was cut apart and used as a parts car. I had bought the parts from this guy and then one day he had the fender tag on eBay and I bought it to ensure that nobody could use it to build a fake 71 GT.

On the subject of tags, I have probably around 50.

All of them have come off cars that will NEVER see the road again.

I have them to document their existence.

I also have the fender tag, vin and broadcast sheets for 3 cars

Two police package 73 Fury's and a 70 SF GT.

I have them because the people who had them were going to throw them out.

So we know the full VIN number and how it looked a like originally
