Love the way the background was photo shopped out, must have shown the inside of a chop shop or drug lords house.

Thanks Stan for helping me make my previous point again about why I prefer to target my C body sales to Europe or elsewhere outside the U.S. as I mentioned in a previous thread:

Cars leaving American shores.

"And that is perhaps the biggest factor for focusing the sale of my cars overseas. I am tired of too many C body owners in the U.S. undervaluing them and willing to pay very little, wasting my time, and when they do get one cheap, they look for all the aftermarket parts the can tack on them to screw them up - and big wheels and tires, slammed suspensions, headers, etc, etc. - puke. :stop: Or putting them out in the back 40 to rot so they can have the extra parts if they need them for their other junker that they think is so cool."

This car in the Craigslist listing was probably purchased for $500 from the wife of the deceased original owner (note the black & yellow original plate) so a genius could do his magic on it and show the world how creative he is. It was probably saveable at the point of sale, but now??.............
Overseas, it probably would have been restored.

I tried to sell this somewhat rusty EV2 300 convertible here in the U.S. before selling it to Finland. No one in the U.S. would take it on, but the guy that bought it will restore it and he doesn't mind the welding needed. He has a good reputation for taking on such projects and making them gems. Here is the car when I had it, and I am looking forward to seeing some photos of the finished product in the future:

And I sold this project convertible to another guy in Finland a little more than 2 years ago, and this is his car in a show over there a little more than a month ago, finally done:

Gorgeous car! Looks like a great restoration but I wish he didn't change the color.

At least the seller does not undervalue his C-Body car. :D

Just to be clear Chris, the EV2 car is yet to be completed (and it will stay EV2, as that is the primary reason the guy bought it), and the red one is a different car altogether that I sold a couple years before the EV2 convertible.

Oh, Ok. Didn't read the post very well I guess. Very glad to hear it will stay orange!
