I have a 1971 Plymouth Fury sedan. 318 engine. needs a little bit of work to be a nice car, new carburetor, new fuel pump. New roof skin installed. not running right now until the carburetor is adjusted properly, and the car transmission slips (I'm not sure it may just need fluid and filter?) bring a trailer, clear Florida title. Text Preferred please, and I will return.

Man that would be another great driver to own. I'd guess they either don't have the kick down linkage adjusted properly, or the trans really is injured because of the same thing

Kinda looks like the pictures are from before the new vinyl was installed. Not the best pics but it seems to have some paint and/or primer on top?

To me the roof skin is the metal, didn't realize it was the vinyl top, although from that one distant pic it could be Rino Liner to me.

originally a vinyl top car, sheet metal was eaten away like Swiss cheese. I had to replace the sheet metal roof skin from a donor car. the gray you see is a primer that was painted over the finish work.

I got some additional pictures. He texted them instead of emailing like I asked. How do I post them from my phone? The interior is rough when not absent.
The pictures I sent you on the phone are fine, there's not a problem with them. I see the ones that you posted, they look perfect. what's the problem?

The original vinyl top was removed, because the sheet metal underneath it was destroyed. I found a donor car, took the skin off of it (sheet metal) and replaced it. there is no vinyl top on the car, that's a gray primer over the finish work. no Rhino liner. Lol

Ha yea got that, roof skin is a bit of work eh? Re-looking I can see the vicegrips in the windshield channel.

Love the Mini Air Cleaner!

It was quite a bit of work. had to cut all the spot welds and body filler out of the original, and then do the same exact process on the donor, then swap it over. my buddy did the welding and finish work. unfortunately, I had to sell this car. I felt like crying the day I sold it, I really didn't want to sell it, but I had to. I hope to get another one someday.
