am looking for a brake booster for my 71 Plymouth fury with front disc brakes....any leads for replacements or nos stuff...thinking a nos booster that old may not be good idea...thoughts plz?

I wouldn't shy away from a NOS Booster, to my experience they don't Age that badly as the rubber parts in NOS master cylinders, i always replace the rubber there, usually start sipping into the booster. There should also be companies around that overhaul the Booster, not cheap I guess, at least from what I know from over here.

Provided the booster was always stored in a cool environment and never exposed to the sun I would say the rubber diaphragm will be fine. Rubber's enemy is mainly heat and sunlight. Mind you, having it rebuilt would be your best option for peace of mind.
