Ad description and photos for the record:

"1971 Plymouth Fury Custom

2 door hard top, slant 6 automatic. A/M radio, drum brakes. 97654 original miles. I am the second owner. I drove the car off and on for about 10 years. I stopped driving the car because it needed a tune up, master cylinder and carb. Started to restore the car but got cancer and that halted the project. I have for the car a remanufactured 318 2bbl, a 727 auto that is rebuildable. NEW water pump, mopar ignition with distributor, voltage regulator, holley carb, starter, plugs and wires, chrome valve covers, Milodon oil pan. No dents, not a wreck, all the glass is there and in good shape. Front floor is rusted with some small rust spots in other areas. No battery. Alternator and power steering were working when i parked it. Interior is rough but restorable. It's been in my garage for the last five years. Tires still hold air. Asking $2500 for every thing OBO"

So the Custom is a Fury I 1/2

Seriously, I don't remember the Fury Custom. Thanks. I didn't catch that in the opening post.

A bargain car based on value.
Not wasted on things like having the fender extension paint match the rest of the car, nor the marketing folks getting a different picture that showed that it would...

A hardtop with quarter windows that did nothing would only piss me off.

You enjoy replacing power quarter window motors I take it. :poke:

Charles Lindbergh was asked why was he going to attemp his flight with an airplane that had only one engine. His reply was that it was one less thing to break. :p

They don't need to be power in a car like this just roll down. Hell even the quarter windows on my post coupe RR flip open. It gives the wind somewhere else to go besides the side of your head.

Interesting the model came stock with 3-on-the tree.

"Ask your dealer how you can get an automatic transmission at no extra charge."

Yeah but it comes with really nice "options" like dual headlights, and a drivers outside mirror as well as other standard Fury I standard equipment.
Marketing people are hilarious, the "options" remind me of the old Isuzu commercials where the guy is making **** up while they subtitles saying it was all lies, LOL.

Where is it? Looks like there are some nice parts.
