Looks like a good car for a resonable price if the underside isnt completely rotted out.

Id be interested but with the poor photographs it almost seems like deliberate move to hide problem areas on the car. Interceptor in Michigan? Why isn't there any pictures of the inevitable rust?

We can infer/even see she's got a fair bit of rust -- perhaps well beyond an economic salvage.

Just passenger side alone .. well we can judge for ourselves. everything "from the knee down" could have issues.

may only be good for parts if one is unable/unwilling to toss a bunch a Benjamins at the body.

If someone here buys it for parts I'd be interested in the tan interior for my own PK41 car

The price reflects condition. The price likely doesn't reflect what it is and what it has. At that price, you don't get the luxury to sleep on it.

I do in fact get the luxury of sleeping on it. There's no telling how thoroughly roached out it is based on the few photos provided, which are low quality and poorly angled. I'm not tempted to shuck out the money for the car and transport just to see it in person and realize how far gone it might be. Someone more adventurous and more capable can take a swing at it.

As an aside, are there any frame differences between a Police or Regular Mopar?

I agree, the speedo, (despite fuzzy pic), and the rubber floor mat would suggest it is. However, my knowledge of Police vehicles is only what I remember from the 70's and NYSP cars I saw. In addition to the usual & 440, they always seemed to have the spotlight, power windows, an oil pressure gage where the clock would be and a throttle lock below and right of the steering wheel.

Much appreciated info guys, I do think I'll be nodding back off for a bit, best of luck to whomever bought the car

Thats the way it goes.

Lmao. "Rust throughout would make a great donor!" "One time auction otherwise ill find a good body"

Best of luck to the fella and his long-winded story about highschool.

thanks @ayilar. appreciate the heads up

I tried before all this with seller to no avail ... guy was blowin' me off (maybe multiple offers, maybe thought I was just another low-ballin, tirekicker, whatever)

Offered 2K for it when it was advertised as we know for $2500.

NOT the basket case I thought, but still heavy lift (for me anyway) for resto without a suitable donor (i do not have such a donor), and I do NOT wanna harvest its parts (of which it is advertised to have a bunch real cop stuff)..

anyway, hope it finds a good home.

Here's what the car looked like about 2,000 miles and 10 years ago.

Probably had the bad cam back then and the reason why it only had just under 2k added to the odometer.
