Welll,,, while you are annoying him ask him why
in the hell he put "440" on the fender and a "TNT"
pie pan on air cleaner ......

He said he has paperwork to verify, just saying. Being 3rd owner he might not have put the emblems or tin on.

Is this package shelf cover original? Seems to match the seat vinyl perfectly. I've never seen a vinyl-covered one before, except after the upholstery shop finishes the job, that is. The fabric looks OEM style, though.

It seems a little tragic to me to take such a well-preserved car like this and add Flowmasters and RWL tires turned to the inside, with baby-moon hubcaps. Seems a shame to modify it, to try turn it into something it's not.

But Road Wheels, whitewalls, and quiet-type mufflers I would feel totally different about.

From the ad, if it helps:

All Original number matching Chrysler New Yorker. 440, AT, updated AC to R-134,PS,PW,PL, AM-FM radio that actually works. 4,500 original miles, complete tune-up, Holley carb. rebuild, electronic ignition. Mopar Police wheels and new tires and shocks as well. All lights, signals, etc. work as they should even the annoying seat belt buzzer. I have the factory wheel covers that come with the car. I had dual exhaust with Flowmasters installed as well. Paint is original probabljy an 7,8 out of 10. Interior is immacculant. Always garaged. Sweet ride and smooth as can be. Turns heads wherever it goes. No leaks and no rust. I have the Build Sheet and receipts and paperwork to verify history. I have a complete breakdown of the Fender Tag and Build Sheet describing all the specs and options that came on the car. It was assembled on June 14,1972 at the St.Louis assembly plant and sold to Broadway Chrysler Plymouth in McKees Rock, PA.I am only the third owner, just don't have time for it.
Please call or text Jeff 302-745-3282. I will be happy to answer any questions. Any inspections are welcome. If you're looking for that special 4 door C body, this is it. Thanks for looking.

A 104K mile car wouldn't look that good in the driver seat area much less have a rim blow steering wheel in that condition. I tend to believe it is the low miles he claims.

Nice liking car. I'm glad he has the original wheel covers for it, to bad he didn't put them on. Imho

I'm leaning on believing the mileage on this one too.
The mods can easily be changed back. Nice car

I know were that dealership was located. My dad bought all of his station wagons there (61,66 & 73) there up until 1976 when he traded the 73 on a Buick Regal my mother and sister talked him into buying. . my uncle worked there salesmen in the early to mid 60's. His son was finance manager at the dealership were he bought the 1976 Buick Regal.

I just saw a green version of the 72 last week at a show and reminded me of my Uncles fathers 72 which was purchased at the same dealership. I really like the 72's

Someone got a great deal! I bet he contacted the seller convinced him to lower the but it now and struck the deal.

I hope it went to a good home and doesn't turn up in Lakeland.

Don't forget the over-saturation on the pictures.
And the 15 re-lists on ebay with no sale.
