Look at the 1973 Newport Coupe in the Appleton WI. craigs.......almost identical car plus from Cali. for $10,000 less than the car above.

Look at the hood hinges and springs. Clean as a whistle and shining like a baby's butt. Fresh paint....

After taking a closer look at 150% resize I agree, not sure if it was only some "detailing" around the spots in the engine department or partial repaint or whole car; I'll wait for Stan's report after the trip.

Except the quality of the job can definitely be determined after a few months or years. That's why I prefer older or original paint jobs.
