A Canadian car with a confederate flag........?

Looks like a great driver for a couple of G's

A guy here in Hamilton got dragged through the muck on the front page of the local rag and in front of the Ontario Human Rights commision for having a flag up in his coffee shop. So much for freedom of expression.

Each to his own, but it is like seeing martians. Either the guy is a USA/Southerner transplant or he didn't get the memo on how long the civil war has been over and which country it took place in. Either way, ignorance is truly bliss.

The Rockabilly crowd has these flags plastered all over them, don*t think the majority is really aware of what it stands for in the country of origin.

That's o.k. let them have their fun. We over here in the states will just watch in amusement.

I see the flag as American History and ironically, a symbol of freedom and states rights. Its the racial overtone that I cant tolerate because that is not what it was.

yes, it is true. Unbeliveable how many people over here use the flag

True. History is the keyword. When I worked in Maine years ago I saw big pickup trucks with confederate flags everywhere. I thought it was amusing. Also could get excellent tasting gigantic lobster for song and a dance.

They used the flag on General Lee for a prime time TV show; guess it is not completely prohibitive. The Rockabilly guys I think also use it as the South is considered the cradle of this type of music.

It went along with the timbre of the show.
