72 Polara, Sedan, custom interior, fuel injected custom 5.9 Magnum, 518 trans. Needs some work, mostly cosmetic and some trim. Fuel and temp gauge not working. 78 formal dash. minor rust. Floors and 1/4's solid. I drove this as a daily driver until 3 years ago. Get's 19 MPG around town. Was supposed to be featured in Mopar Action a long time ago. Every time we went to do a photo shoot, it rained. . . .

In it's day it was the only one like it. May still be. Many innovations like delay wipers. I suggest you email me for pics. Drivable. Needs new Batt.

I'm too sick to work on it and can't even afford a battery for it.

Restored 9 years ago. I've been a member here that long. There's probably some pictures in the archives.

$3K Drive it home. steve at moparfins.com
MY CAR DAYS ARE OVER

Oh yeah

Please! Serious inquiries only. And bring your own battery. Engine alone is worth 5K

Driven about 60,000 since restored, maybe 10K on the engine. It's in Bangor PA right now
MY CAR DAYS ARE OVER

That's Steve Hobby who started www. MoparFins.Com
It's a Polara with Monaco tail lights, hence, "Polaraco"
As true a Mopar guy as they come.
The last several years have been tough for him. I truly hope the crap he has gone thru is behind him now and he can get back to enjoying life.

I feel for Steve, I really do. Best wishes for him...

Someone here needs to buy this and preserve it. Only $3k very good price too.

Well, it appears I'm going to be the new caretaker of Polaraco (the car not Steve

)....I want to thank Steve for the opportunity to save it.

I got it running yesterday, today it got a battery, EFI cleaner and fresh tank of gas, oil and filter change and some minor parts that needed replacing in the fuel venting system. It also got a good run around my neck of the woods and it's doing great. Every C body should have a A518 trans conversion like Steve did. :sSig_thanks:

Congrats! Please post some more pics of it when you get a chance. What rear gears are in that thing? I like the OD idea...
