Selling a 1972 Dodge Polara Sedan

Runs and drives good, need some TLC though good shape for it's age.

Good body with minor trauma on the driver's side lower front fender (see pic).

Good points:

-Good engine and transmission (318 V8 with auto transmission)
-Good body with the exception of what I mentioned above regarding the front fender
-Good interior, seats and door panels and headliner look good with the exception of the dash pad

Bad points
-Minor exhaust leak by exhaust manifold (not too bad)
-Needs new shocks and and tires (tire tread good though cracks in the side walls)
-Dash lamps, heater & wiper switch don't seem to activate though dome, turn & all exterior lamps work good

As many car guys know, the 1969-73 Dodge Polara's and Plymouth Fury's were a popular choice for Law enforcement agencies back in the day. This Polara would be a great police car project to make a tribute Washington State Patrol version like in the photo or a CHP (California Highway Patrol) unit.
This was my plan to do with a friend though he bailed on the project and cannot keep it at his place anymore (his wife wears the pants in the family). This Polara needs to go to a good home that appreciates MoPar sedans of this era (would make a great stable mate to a Challenger :))

Call with any questions & please serious inquiries only, thanks.

Maybe instead of rusting old Mopars turn 'green'!

Like some have said of the '72 Fury front ends, I can't say I'm a fan of these much either.

I like the front end, it's the rear end which butters me... Too plain somehow. 72 Monaco tail lights would make it a perfect car for me.

Oh, and triple black... ;)
