Sounds rough for the price but looks like his heart might be in the right place. If anyone is in College Station/greater Houston area, this might be a good prospect...

Hi I am selling my 1972 Chrysler New Yorker. This is a very rare car and is decently clean for it's age. Has a 440 and a 727 auto, was told it ran when parked, it is missing its carburetor so I have not tried to start it, oil looks good with no water or sludge. Body has typical roof rust (worst spot pictured) but floors, trunk, and quarters are excellent. Body is very straight except for one dent on the passenger rear quarter. Dash was taken out by the previous owner but I have all the parts including the pad. Car appears to be nearly complete, the only major component missing is the carburetor. Odometer says 47000 miles and I wouldn't doubt that it's true. I have all the the trim and all 4 hubcaps, a/c has been partially removed but all the parts appear to be in the trunk. Clear Texas Title. I bought this on a whim to save it from the crusher but I have 2 other projects and I'm a full time student so I won't be able to get to it for a while. I'm negotiable on the price but please do not call me if you are looking for a derby car or plan to just rip its drive train out and send it across the scales, I would rather keep it then send it to its death. Fuselage Mopars are becoming very hard to come across, especially 2 doors. This car is huge, would make an awesome family hotrod, led sled, or bootlegger car. Asking $1800 obo. If interested please call or text 713-410-1386. I might be interested in trading for another car or truck, running Buick 455 with cash, or a decent paint job for my 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Thanks....
