400, 2 barrel, glass and chrome in very good original condition. Last painted in 1988. Original interior with a small tear in the driver's seat. Front disc brakes, power windows. 48,000 original miles. Rides like a new car at 25 miles per gallon. Open to reasonable offer.

I bet he's asking 5 figures. Probaby $10-12k.

God it looks good with those wheels and in that color..............But not many people want the 72's

Hard to say for sure but despite the mileage it seems to be in nowhere near as good condition as the '71 I posted earlier that is on offer for $8200 which seems high. I would bet $5-6K would take it. My tastes make the '71 far more appealing than this one, but that's personal to everyone.

I've never been a huge fan of that grille and bumper but the car looks pretty nice in spite of it.

I agree on the year preference but the 72 has the big block, better color combo and road wheels.........

I'd take her.......reasonably clean, rip in the seat is excuse for new upholstery/interior....and this time there's a big block under the hood...unlike the green jersey shore car. Nice.

I grew up in a blue collar working class area. It was years before I found out there were more choices than a Ford, Chevy, or Plymouth 4 door sedans.

Not a lot. See more verts in affluent neighborhoods, not so much in the neighborhood I grew up in.

So were you on the farm or in the city? I suspect back then the population of the whole state of Wisconsin was 1000 strong.

Definitely city. I lived in the oldest part of Milwaukee (RiverWest neighborhood). My parents house was blocks from Lake Michigan. During the 60's Milwaukee was the 12th biggest city in the U.S. Milwaukee ranks 22nd now, with a million + residents metro Milwaukee. Milwaukee was known as the Machine Shop of the World and of course the Beer Capitol of the world. Almost 6 million people in Wisconsin.
