Needs a lot of work! But could be a fun project.

For sale or trade is a 1973 Dodge Polara California Highway Patrol car. This car is mostly complete, missing the heads, distributor, and radiator. I should have these items except the radiator, as I have numerous Mopar 440 parts. The interior needs a complete job. I've done some investigating and found out it was a California Highway Patrol car. I have talked with the owner who originally purchased it from the California state auction. He is going to send me a letter about the cars history after he purchased it. The title is still in his name from 1975, and I have all the suspense receipts, including the California consumer affairs slip with the Ca. exempt license plate number.

Will consider trade for hunting and reloading equipment

That is cool. The funny thing, is when I was looking, I came up empty handed for some time. Even after posting adds all over craigslist. I almost ended up with a 74 Fury Tenn State Trooper car, but it was rusted to pieces. Big project, but this one looks like it still has the white steering wheel, and rust should be minimal.

That is a very cool cop car!

Is it strange for it not to have a spotlight?

I'd rather deal with piecing the interior back together, and building a motor vs dealing with rust personally.

I'm just done with rust! lol Every vehicle I've had has been cursed with it. Not that I'm really shopping anyway...

I wonder what the deal is with the blue 73' Polara sitting beside the CHP car?
