For Sale 1973 Chrysler Newport $1000 (St. Louis)

Car was a originally 400 2bbl, 727, 8.25 rear with 2.76 gears. I installed a 4bbl years ago and dual exhaust with headers. Has about 106,000 miles. I've owned it for 18 years, but haven't driven it in 8. Parked due to rear u-joint failure, now won't crank. My guess is it needs a new battery cable as it's pretty frayed. Needs rear u-joint repaired (threads stripped in yoke), no-start issue fixed and probably some tranny work (I obviously drove it when the u-joint failed but I think the tranny was finicky). Has 72 taillights that I installed years ago and now I can't find the originals. $1000obo

I would rather see the car sold to someone who will use the parts for their project than see it go to the derby guys. Dropping price to $750obo.
