Rescued at the very last second before the Navajo was dragged off.

I'm pretty sure there's enough meat on the rotors for another cut.

Do NOT ask me about them. Deal with Lance directly by emailing him: flmopar63@yahoo.com

Plenty of people were asking about these parts recently.

It allows you to do a manual to disk brake conversion on 65-72 C's with cheaply available 1973 rotors.

74+ can't be used on anything else. Zip. Nada. Everything is unique. We go to AutoZone and the rest of the C-bodys scour the internet.

Same reason why keeping your drums rocks too, just bought all my parts over the shelf................. At Napa, not via the internet or from some far off jobber, just down the street.

Smart move keeping the drums...hard to justify all of the work in the disc swap for a street cruiser.

I just bought a set of disc's, bearings, and seals for the wifes 72 NYB @ NAPA so I can grease and bag her original rotors. My local junkyard is full of them too, but I wanted fresh.

Should I start snagging these parts and making them available for people wanting to do disc swaps on earlier cars? There's ten sets if theres one. I posted about this place in the "General" forum, under "Who likes Blackberries, They're in Season" I literally had to chop my way thru the brush of nobody else locally being interested to see what was left, and it turns out, quite a bit if you aren't looking for rustbelt sheetmetal......

From time to time we'll re-attack the drum to disc swap. Most people doing the conversion wait for 73 parts as the 73 was a one year anomaly that used stronger "unicast" one piece rotors. A few people have used 70-72 disc set ups in their hobby cars though since they will wear slowly with only occasional use.

I personally would file it away and offer to help if it comes up again.

I was on the fence about swapping out my current drums for disc's too.
We loaded Jazebelle down with us and about 5/600 lbs of necessary gear and drove 1100 miles to Carlisle last July... including 750 miles on the Blue Ridge parkway.
Lots of up...down and around on that route and after two and a half days of on and off the brakes they were starting to fade away.....
Once home I pulled a couple drums and the linings had a good glaze on them..... I'm going with the disc's.....

after riding around with drums then converting to disc front brakes, there is no way id go with front drums... it was worth the money and time to change from drums to discs in my opinion, but I don't know if its worth going with 1973 parts instead of ECI or scarebird.
