Suspect flipper? IIRC the car has been in the sellers family since new, refreshed the car about a decade ago, and no finally get it back on the road again.

"belonged to her grandma" doesn't sound like family speak to me, plus flippers love to show a find & trailer journey to the wash up area.
I guess to rub it in your face that they found it and you didn't.
