That is a sweet looking 73' Imp. The only thing it could do without are those bumper guards. I think they are removeable....toss em' in the trash.
 
Some neighbor dude had a car like that. DeathTrap. Coffin on four wheels. Would'nt drive that out of my garage even if you paid me. Try that on the jersey turnpike......up towards exit 6, 7, & 8. You have massive cast iron balls if you do.
 
I installed a new interior on a 1970's MG for my boss. Did the work at my house and figured I'd drive it back to PA for him on a beautiful spring Monday morning. Top down and sunshine on the PA Turnpike. Let me tell you, those trucks are A LOT bigger at 65 MPH. I realized I was just not the English Roadster type.
 
I had a '69 TR-6 20 years ago. When driving it next to one on the highway I used to marvel at how large Miatas were!


That said, it's not really like era B and C bodies did a lot better.

Just to let you all know, that 73 sold today for $6700. the reserve was met.
 
Seems like a very fair price for such a clean and straight example.
