I went to look at the car today. I thought it was an original black car, but it is a JY3 exterior (is this Light Gold?). It has a V1Y interior -- looks like gold as well, not tan as the photos look like. The car isn't too bad, from what I could see. There's a little more rust than I would like to see though. The seams in the door bottoms are questionable, and there's some bubbling in the drivers front fender. I opted out of buying it for that reason -- a little too much rust for me -- but I am really fussy with the rust thing on the bottom of the car. The trunk floor is mint in this car though. Funny thing as there was some serious tin worm working on the false tail panel facing the trunk, but on the top, on the driver's side. The guy has only had this car for a week, but he kept telling me how crowds of people swamped the car at drive in car shows. This car does look good in black, but the paint is really in poor condition, and there is definitely many bumps of rust under the vinyl roof. The Temp II water servo servo in the engine compartment was totally bypassed and not hooked up, and the cruise control pins and carb connection has been robbed off of this engine already. I didn't take many photos, just of the fender tag.
I wish these cars were taken better care of, it's a shame because these are gorgeous cars.
