It looks nice & clean until the under hood shot, needs some TLC.I like the black 300 to it's side, looks like a '59 300E,judging by the red screen peeking below the headlamps .

Now THAT is the ugliest C-body ever! The '73 Newports and New Yorkers are not at all attractive, and the awful shade of green on this simply exaggerates the ugliness.

F1 Mist Green looks pretty nice when you see it with your eyeballs. $3500

I remember that color well when new. It looks fine on a '73 Satellite, but nasty on a New Yorker. Plus, the grille on the '73 is simply ugly. Neither help the cause.

I disagree. I have a 73 Newport 2dr in that color with a dark green top and interior and it is a stunning car. I get more looks with that car and more people asking me questions about it than I ever did with my 74 challenger! I am partial to the 73 and find their design pleasing and formal compared to 69 thru 72. As a matter of fact I own 2 73 2dr show cars and enjoy driving and cruising in them all summer long!

Probably the worst perspective to shoot a pic of this model; looks like a green block of concrete.
From other angles I learned to like the looks.

Eww, puke green, no way...

Hi- I am the one who has the 73 polara 2dr vip that you have helped me out with and by the way thank you for your help in giving me info it has truly helped in the resto process. It makes it easier to compare when somebody else has the same car and option package! Just wanted to say I have a 73 2dr Newport in this mist green color and I love it! I have more people stop me and ask me about the car. In fact it draws a crowd wherever I go and people love the color! I have to admit whenever I walk toward the car to get in it makes me smile because the color is soothing, cheerful and just different!

My grandfather's 73' Polara was a similar color. I absolutely loved it!:yaayy:

This color is unique and I don't mind it on this car. I don't like it much on B-bodies or E-bodies personally.
Bob, isn't this the color of the airplane hanger Imp you were waiting for??

Was gonna say, this has Bobs name all over it.

Bob will be the talk of HOA if he parks a third one in his housing area. :)

This belongs to one of the guys here.

Yep that is my car along with the Navajo next to it. I just love this car and it looks so sharp in that color. I have documentation on this car from original window sticker and bill of sale to every service record done to the car. It currently has 83,000 well cared for miles and plan on doing a lot of summer cruising in it along with my Navajo!
