Nice options... $5k is a bit strong for this... If you buy I know where you could get a great deal on a blue vinyl top that would almost fit.

Pretty nice looking bucket seat interior

And lots of detail in the ad write up

The last sentence made me laugh a little

This is a matching #'s 1973 New Yorker Brougham 440. She has a 727 trans, 2.73 open gears with 61,000 miles. It had Oregon 1986 plates/tags when I bought it. This vehicle was apart of the Charles Kee Collection in Brothers, Or. This guy collected cars. A lot of cars. 400+ A, B, C body Mopars' to be exact. He apparently kept them stored inside for about 25 years. From what I was told Mr. Kee died in around '07 and ALL of the cars got put outside in the desert. So around the first part of 2013 His wife died and they all went up for auction. Apparently all the B-bodies (200 of them) got bought by 3 Europeans AND SHIPPED OUT. The fellow I bought it from bought this car and a 72 400BB Newport. He got her running again and the Newport (turns out the Newport had a cracked block) The New Yorker runs like a champ after sitting almost 30 years. This New Yorker is in amazing condition. The vinyl top is gone from UV exposure. Luckily Mr. Kee covered the salvageable interiors and saved them. The interior of this car is in like new condition. The paint from years of weather I thought was shot but I was wrong and I was able to bring it back.

The only place of rust is a quarter sized spot behind the driver's rear quarter panel. It has a few removable door/fender dings but no major dents. The trunk lid has some peeling paint on the underside bottom but no rust. The Chrysler emblem is missing a couple of letters but the rest is in the glove box. The rear window frame is rust free and does not leak. The right hand turn signal needs to be manually operated due to a bad rear turn signal fixture. It needs a headliner and a vinyl top if so desired. There is a repairable small tear on the seat back of the driver seat. The torsion bars have been put back to OEM height when I serviced the transmission and engine this spring. When the car is cold it does need a shot of gas down the carburetor (original Thermoquad) but when warm its fine. The car was used for cruises last summer without issue. Don't want to sell it but I need to pay off a loan.

New parts include power steering pump, wiper blades, battery and battery cables, alternator, shocks, tires, new single 3'' Flowmaster and tail pipe, starter, electric fuel pump, front and rear brake pads. The top has been clear coated in wait of vinyl top (still looks good). Everything is in operable condition except the air condition. The rear windows do roll down but the switches have been disconnected due to my busy kids. Carpet is OEM and better than average condition. The car is currently licensed with a clear title in my name. 5000 OBO.

Has cruise, power windows, power trunk, power driver seat, automatic lights, wipers/washer, chronograph clock, power antenna all work.

Have chrome air cleaner for it. Big marine/RV 850 CCA Group 27 battery. Tried to Bluetooth my smartphone to the radio with an FM transmitter and it worked!

who ever is flagging me thanks you just put me back at the top of the list.

Maybe he was using a device that you plug into his smartphone that will transmit the signal on the FM band so the radio can pick it up???

I used one with my Ipod when I had a older Fleetwood.......or I am totally misunderstanding him.
