My Mom toted our entire family around (six kids) in an identical car; interior, driveline, B5 True Blue.. that was her second Sport Suburban. Her first a 1970 Sport Suburban - 383 2bbl in B3 Ice Blue. The 73 had rear heat/ac. I believe she put about 85k on it before trade-in. Sitting in the very back with the rear window down usually with my younger sister was a dusty asphyxiation nightmare. That spoiler didn't seem to help much. The space between the rear seat and center seat was always reserved for my younger brother because it was so small. IIRC the torsion bars were replaced two or three times on the 73 because the potholes, unimproved Michigan roads and my oldest sister wreaked havoc on the suspension. I never got to drive either car as I was between ages 4-11 when we had them.

My stepdad actually bought a couple of parts off the green ‘70 next to the wagon here. He says he is pretty firm on his prices, but he would deal with him again if he needed anything else. Too bad this wagon is rotted away, but my stepdads former beige ‘73 Custom Suburban had the same rotted sub frame problem. He actually replaced his with a 71 Gran Coupe frame, and he said he only had to drill one hole. This car has been listed on facebook for awhile now too.
