Hi, I picked a a 1973 Sport Fury 4d a couple years ago with the intention of restoring it. I completely stripped the car, the metal is not bad, a little rust on the rear quarters. I had the car water blasted and epoxy coated. I purchased a ton of stuff to build the car but reality set in and I wont have time to start this project for years. The car was running with a 318. I purchased a 440 engine and trans to put in the car. Here's what I have:
Car: rolling shell, water blasted and epoxy coated
Original 318 engine complete--ran good
440 engine, disassembled--have all the parts
auto trans for both engines
door glass is still installed
front and rear windshields are removed--front is cracked
Dash trim has been dipped to look like wood
new wood steering wheel to match
Front disc brake conversion kit
new head lights
serpentine conversion kit with a/c for 440
new a/c compressor and line
new quarter panels and trunk panel
I have all the parts for the car with the exception of the interior (was stolen from me)
Autometer digital guage set (paid over $600)
There is probably many more parts that I cant even think of
I Paid $2k for the car, $1,200 for the water blasting, and over $2500 in parts. I'm just looking to recoup some of my money. The car is sitting in front of my auto repair shop under a cover collecting dust, and the parts are taking up space in my shop. I'd like to get $2900 f
or everything. It's a lot for the money. The car is located on Long Island. I'll post some pics as soon as I can, were in the middle of a snowstorm right now. If you have any questions, my cell is 516-978-6153, call or text or email me at maximus75@msn.com
Thanks,
Jeff
