For Sale is a Unrestored 1974 AMC Javelin (good condition) . This was the last year for this vehicle, and this particular AMC is a fine example of meticulous ownership throughout the past 41 years. Stands out from the basic Camaro, Mustang, etc that we all see at EVERY car show.

This Javelin has a new Holley four barrel, mild cam along with Edelbrock Valve covers (could use a polish).
Dependable and original 304 V8
Center console 3 speed shifter
Aftermarket wheels with plenty on tread left on it's BF Goodrich tires.
Stainless aftermarket exhaust (not sure if it's custom or name brand, but very nice rumble)
MSD Ignition
Also, not sure what to call it, but it has a very neat latch that you can switch over from the positive terminal on the battery to immediately disconnect power.
Tach was added to make sure all is well while inside the cab.
Has original dealer added striping.
Interior is all original, and dash is in tact
All gauges work.
Rust is VERY minimal.
Solid, coated trunk
Paint is starting to show its age, BUT it is still in very acceptable condition, in my opinion.
Awarded HPOF award for it's originality
Original owner's manual and brochure
Many receipts from throughout the years
COMES WITH NEW badges/lettering, chrome trim parts, etc.

Asking $8250 or best offer. Come take a look! Thank you for your interest.

Many more pics at link.

Interesting. I thought there would be more Rambler Love here. Maybe in an E-body forum....

There was a couple of them in the row behind us at Carlisle.

I can't find the dang pictures...

had a chance to buy a rambler 770 just like this for $900 about 20 years ago. hindsight

A truly original example of a Javelin. So original to down to the MSD distributor, headers, go fast goodies, Sun Tach, ARE Gambler wheels, and obvious repaint. But other than that, original. Not that I wouldn't roll it, 'cause I'd drive the crap out of it.

A girl in my high school class (mid-'70s timeframe) had a '74 with the 360 and a four-speed. Hers was light blue (similar to Petty Blue) with a white interior. Fit her personality to a "T"! She had one of two AMC's in the school parking lot. The other was a '63 Rambler wagon another kid in my class bought for $40. It was damn near mint, too.

Not much AMC love in my part of the country, though. I like them.

I think most guys like them but most won't own them. I have ne reason to ever buy one but they're cool as hell.... even a Pacer

Gone already. This last Generation never appealed to me, though the designer series' they offered had some Special touch.

Someone saw it, and knew it was a good deal. So they take a screen shot of the ad, take down all the info, then flag the hell out of it. It keeps other buyers from contacting the owner. Hence making his chances of getting the car better. Annoying as all piss... But, that's what they do!

I would like to get my hands on a chump that does that.
I had it happen once, and didn't know why. So I reposted in multiple cities, and the post was eventually left alone.
