Only the steering wheel doesn't fit that assumption.

that front end was used from 75-77 when the Satellite B body cars became Furys in 75 and the Plymouth C bodies became Gran Furys

... and came to the Custom in 1976. A year later, the Custom was eliminated from the lineup. Also note the absence of rubber strips in the front bumper, that are typically found on 1975 models however. As a consequence, the III/Custom turns out to have been the only Formal Plymouth to receive a year-on-year front-end refresh.
