Man This Was Fun!!!! Im selling my Monaco. Turned into a "Bluesmobile" By the guy I bought it from. Its probably the best one Ive seen... The Lady went through the movie frame by frame to re create one of the coolest cars to ever hit the screen. From the primer on the front fender to the missing "D" in Dodge to the Accurate fabrication of the CHP Push bar.. Its all there. As you can see in the pics Im not hiding or even cleaning anything.. it really adds to the character. Now the particulars.. Its not technicality a police car but a Custom sedan.. This means there is no post in between the front and back doors and the back glass is slightly different and of course there is no 440.... yea I know.. With that being said prob 1 out of 25 people will even know what you're talking about when you tell them. The body is rusty.... the frame is not.. very solid you can see in the pics... again character. Works and don't works... It has a 360 V8 and a 3 speed Auto.. New carb distributor fuel sending unit shocks tires ignition module windshield Alternator Radiator water pump belts and hoses... All the lights horn and wipers are fine... even the washer.. imagine that! Carpet is trash seats are usable head liner is perfect.. The speedo is broken kind of does its own thing. the radio is AM and does not work. And never hooked up the search light. The climate control works as it should heat is good and when the A/C has a charge it is ice cold but it leaks down in a couple of days and is still R12. It runs really well and I drive it into New Orleans on a reg basis around 250 mile round trip and have driven it as far as Biloxi Ms. no problems.. I added an oil press gauge and a temp gauge to keep an eye on everything. Its never run hot or come close and has great oil press. The engine seeps oil from places but no terrible leaks as well as the trans... The brakes are in great shape and stops straight. The front end is tight and drives straight. I would drive this thing anywhere.... Everybody loves it!!! I've had my fun now be the only one around to have a Bluesmobile! These are becoming extremely hard to come by and I'll prob regret selling it but I've got too many projects! I've explained everything to the best of my ability please ask any questions you may have
