I just read Rip's Navajo mega-thread and was going to tag on, but decided not to hijack. The Navajo option apparently lived on for '74, perhaps using up leftover parts? Or not. Who knows. Apparently you could get other colors by '74.

This car was an original paint survivor that was being bid on by a derby guy. I swooped in and got it. Drove down to Tennessee with a friend and then back up to Detroit without issue.

Added EFI and remote start along the way. It came with road wheels, but when it came time to sell, I swapped on a janky set of Cragars. I probably still have those road wheels... Sold to a guy in the Chicago area circa 2007. I don't know what became of it after that.

An acquaintance saw a 74 Navajo at Carlisle a ew years ago and bought it. It is in the traditional colors.

You do get cool cars Carmine.

Wow! I really love that car. Maybe I should do the same mods to mine. . .

Don't bother. It wasn't much, if any, improvement in mileage or power. Luckily I bought the kit second hand. I've installed two of the do-it-yourself remote starts and they both crapped out due to cheap electronics.

However, the car was great.
