I recently bought this one to save it from the wolves, I know her history since new and would be happy to share
The reality is I have several vehicle and home projects that have priority over this car getting restored and on the road
I'm not looking to put this for sale in the general sense, but if any member of this board has the ability or want to deal will this one sooner than I can , then a fair price we can agree on and a handshake and I'll let her go

I'd be interested in seeing some close up pictures of that trailer hitch, if you don't mind. Curious how its mounted and constructed.

I'll put some of them up here, can take some more tomorrow ( not the best cameraman it seems)
Just to let everyone know, the guy I got the car from is a 78 yr old commercial fisherman whose uncle bought the car new locally in NS, he bought it from him in '77 with 1,200 miles on it. The woolly mammoth seats covers were on it at that time and were never removed...so I'm hoping for good things when they are finally pulled off

Cool, thank you.. picture of the previous ower I presume?.. Curious about the seats though.. Maybe lift a cover a take a quick shot for us. Just say'en. Leather? clothe?

Yep previous owner.....could be me in 20 years lol
The covers are on there good, I'll try to get one rolled back in the morning..dark here now

Ok got drivers seat cover pulled back, somebody with serious net making skills put these on
Took me about an hour of fussing and surgical snipping to get it undone. I believe the seats would have had to come out to install these....never seen anything quite like this before
Cloth is stained from rubberized striped backing on cover breaking down over the last 4 decades, armrests were under cover and look barely used
A talented detailer should be able to clean them up

Lol.. Thanks for the extra effort.. I'm sure 40 years ago it was all done with good intentions.. Lol
 
Been a long busy summer, haven't been on here much...... but winter is just around the corner and this one shouldn't sit outside. I will give it a few days more on FCBO before I post it on local media. Car is located about an hour from the major seaport of Halifax NS, and can assist with delivery to port or trucking company if needed.
Solid 440 car that runs, drives, and stops , transmission was reportedly overhauled just before it was laid up 20 yrs ago, has recent gas tank, fuel pump and carb kit
Looking for offers around $1,500 cdn.....that's like 50 bucks or so in greenbacks lol
