#172, a 1972 Valiant Scamp built for 24 HoL is running its last race in Dec and will be available for purchase. We are moving on to a new car. A great purchase for a new team looking to get into low buck endurance racing, with minimal things to fix. Its an automatic and easy to drive. It has run good the last 3 races, with minor problems like any $75 race car.

The car has run a best time of 2:23 at Sonoma in March 2014. Handles great.

What's in it:

225 not-stock Slant 6, that makes good HP
Stock Auto trans
2 x Dual 36mm Weber down draft carbs, on a offy manifold
Stock exhaust Manifold to a new 2.5" exhaust (maybe 2.25", memory is going)
Jeep grand Cherokee Radiator, with electric fan
manual steering box
trans cooler
head and block and trans temp gauges
oil pressure gauge
minimal wiring.
taillights are up on rear shelf, protected from rear end hits
fiberglass trunk lid
battery in right trunk

front Suspension:
Stock front torsion bars + Coil overs (~400#/in)
11.75" Dodge Monaco front disks brakes, great pads
90's Mustang front sway bar

rear Suspension:
Dodge E250 rear springs (~410#/in)
Datsun 510 front sway bar
Stock rear axle (welded diff)
Drum brakes with good pads, proportioning valve on rear

Sparco Evo plus seat on Sliders with a back brace, Fits 5-7 to 6-4" (225# easy)
Evil Genius roll cage, 2014/15 compliant
Window net (chump compliant!)
Wink Mirror, plus drivers side mirror

Wheels
1 set of 16x7 lexus wheels, with Yokohama S drives (rain tires)
1 set of 16x8 mitsu 3000gt wheels (w/ direzzas)
Spacers to fit wheels

Spares:
Stock engine with 0.120" milled head, and new bearings
Stock transmission
stock exhaust manifold
Starter
Right Lower control arm
used tires ~10
Our bucket of bolts
rear axle (un welded)
anything else I didn't think of.

Options (meaning you pay a little more if you want this stuff)
The drivers seat belts, new Sept 2014. These are going to our new car unless you want them.
A Corbeau is currently installed as a passenger seat, no slider, has old belts. instructor seat.

Hard to tell since it depends on which of the three different road courses are used. The full course of 2.52 miles has the record of 1:12.688 @ 110 mph in an Audi R8. The NASCAR course of 2.22 miles has the record time of 1:25 @ 83.624 mph. There is also an Indy course and a motorcycle course. Which one the LeMons runs I couldn't find out but assume it is the full course for 150 laps as it is an endurance race.

i'll give credit to the work put into it and the creative interchanging of parts, but why the cones?

At a $4 asking price, you could part it out if necessary and make a decent profit. That is of course ONLY if the car isn't worth saving.
