Patrick, your irrational exuberance at a pretty body will get you in trouble. That $14k car has a $500 paint job with lots of overspray. Tragic. And that's what you've been looking for too.

Don't know about the "$500 paint job" but I do see the overspray on the hood bumpers. Lots of cars get repainted after nearly 40 years, though. This would need a thorough PPI before any money changed hands, especially at that money. Can't see $14K at all. Nine, maybe???

Only if you absolutely must have it regardless because it's the car you really, really, want and if you buy it, it will be the last car you buy because this is your dream car.
Otherwise, seven.......

I guess I'll continue to look. Over on the stationwagonforums.com site, this car was mentioned by another member. Also, the guy who actually owned this car before, in Colorado, posted about it. His post at the wagon forum is below:

This was actually my car 3 years ago. I sold it to this guy for 5K
He had the audacity to ask me for $500 towards repairing the car!!!
That is one of the nicest cars I've ever owned and Dozens of people at
work saw it Every day and said I was dealing with a whack-job! Well, how
ironic this car is described on his site as " one of his favorites " Really.....
Again, the internet makes the world very small. I would not trust this guy
any further than I could throw a Full-size Mopar !!! I notice his asking
price is just a wee bit more than I let it go to him for. By the way. I even
offered to buy it back and pay for his shipping, but he declined. Hmm...
Odd, the car is in terrible shape, I offer to buy it back including his
shipping costs...... and , well, he'll just live with " ALL THE PROBLEMS ! "
I never regretted selling a car to someone as much as him. O.K. I'm
done. Just wanted to share the character of this Dealer. Arrr.........
