it's only money!

1 of 147???

What's special about this one and what makes it 1 of 147?

I thought the St.Regis Option was a Chrysler NY Option.

Imperial called it the "Crown Coupe Package" . The code is V4. Only available with exterior colors Silver Cloud, Starlight Blue, Sherwood Green, Chestnut, Inca Gold.

I don't know if Imperial only made 147 of the Crown Coupe's in 1975.

1641 produced in 1975 according to the Imperial Club Website, the 74s seem to have been very rare with 57 cars.

But maybe it's that numbers reduction game by combining Colors and Options.

I wonder how he came up with that....

Breakdown of color and option data is very hard to find.

". I love this car but it is time for a new home." He loves it so much he priced it to keep it! It wouldn't be worth that if he threw in the 79 300 next to it!

Does that price include the optional wood parking brake?

Another guy who bumped his head.

They are very rare....offered as Chrysler's 50th Anniversary Special.

All 57 of them painted KY4 Golden Fawn...same as my 78 Newport.

Note: It was a very cloudy day when I took the pictures of my Newport. My car looks just like the Imp color with eyeballs on the car. A little sunlight makes all the difference too.

That asking price makes me wonder if the guy is flipping it or is he just really out of touch with what these cars are really selling for?

Minnesota tags on it throws a gigantic red flag up for rust. Even though it's a low mileage car......one winter in the salt in Minnesota/Wisconsin just wreaks rust havoc on cars.

You're not neglecting the blue one now, are you, Bob?

Oh no....I just need to upgrade some interior parts on it eventually. The big thing left on it is new paint and vinyl. Still my DD when possible. Salt everywhere in Maryland now so I probably won't be able to drive it until March unless we have some warmer weather with a lot of rain to wash the salt of the roads.

I'm Jones'ing to drive it now since you brought it up....LOL!

I was with you on the tag thing... After a closer look it is Colorado. Minnesota has land of 10,000 lakes on it or something to that effect. The MN on the tag makes you look twice.

I don't think this guy has a clue what the true value is. If you look closely that vinyl top is a mess, the wood block holding it in place makes you wonder, and only 3 pics... 15k? I think not IMO.

If the story is true that he bought it with 7600 on it, then he's trying to triple what he may have paid for it back in the day. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but lets be realistic here.

More like it needs so much work that it has to go... and it ain't going anywhere for 15k.
