Clarksville TN is about 50 miles north of Nashville, I-24 runs NW right by it.

Somebody needs to be on "The Last Train To Clarksville" and scoop that up. :eek:s_dancing2:

I am thinking about it...was not what I was looking for...but..I do like the color combo.

I can see it's missing the antenna, there is hole in the driver's side leather seat. Maybe a cig burn?

Looks like an oil drip or two on the driveway in the front shot (maybe the front crank seal is dry?)

He says it "needs tune-up", which means it is probably running rough.

Probably fouled plugs? If it sat for a long time with cruddy fuel in it? (Just guessing on that one.)

Odo says 33k miles. Hmm...ok.

Need more info!

These come up for sale every time the owner has squeaked the last mile out of the rear brakes.

Ahhh...yes..thank you for injecting some sanity in here. :)

Had no idea that finding rear replacement rotors for this thing would be impossible (or close to impossible from what I've read now).

Is the AC for this one hard to find parts for? If I bought it getting the AC would be mandatory in this neck of the woods.

There is a set of rear rotors for sale on here that are cheap, worth considering.

Main thing that concerns me is the engine compartment.

For a car with only 33k miles (allegedly), looks kind of rusty.

Like the car sat out somewhere for a LONG time.

And that leather seat tear..hmmm..wonder what that would cost to fix?

I think I'm safe in saying.... add 100K to the clock.

I find it just amazing how many low mileage cars are showing up for sale :laughing4:

Reminds me of those who sell Ford trucks circa 1968-1976. The standard 360 seen in most all of them becomes a 390 on sale day to the unsuspecting buyer. Oh, even better is when they say only 35,000 miles and you look and can see it is 235,000 miles.

Well, this era, it was easy to roll back the odometer...for a "pro"....(hah). Regardless of that, my main concern is the appearance of the engine compartment.

I once had a 80's Ford Crown Vic once had that much rust on the engine. Car was only 10 years old when I got it. I always wondered why, then if finally found out the car had been underwater (yeah...it was a flood car).

I was stuck with it, so I fix that old rust bucket, drove it for 80k miles, then finally wised up and sold it.

Yes, I did tell the buyer what I knew about it. He bought it anyway.

So, if that's the case here, I would pass.

I haven't contacted the guy yet, to get his story, but that would be a question...was the car outdoors with the hood open or something?

Maybe I am being too cautious, based on previous experience.

Any idea on what it would cost to get the leather seat repaired?

takeing exterior and engine bay into consideration l would put my coin on this vehicle being a flood car.....

Sold... probably to a derby guy :( With all those failures in the power options and the rusty engine compartment as mentioned I suspect you guys being right about a flood. To bad there wasn't any for panel shots....the usually tell the tale. Shame someone from here didn't save it.
