Nice car.... Thanks for the posting Steve. Engine compartment looks very exceptional. And if there's any surface rust issues the baby blue color probably won't hide them!

Great shape. Pretty rare that a 76 has a 400. Might be an original high altitude or California car. Probably can narrow it down with the emissions code.

^^ He was asking 8 grand! I was talking to the owner about the car and he text me yesterday and decided to keep her. He did a lot to an already nice car and just wants enjoy it for a while! He told me he's thinking of changing the color to B5 blue with white top!

Yes, bet he has a lot into it, on further inspection of the poor quality engine pic I suspect the engine has been dolled up. For the 96k mileage the paint on the engine is too new and clean, especially around the power steering pump.
Wonder if it's a spray bomb in the car job as there is some over spray on the LS exhaust manifold but no over spray on any of the black A/C & P/S brackets, and the valve cover bolts are dirty with valve cover looking like fresh paint. Done during water pump/belt/hose job? The engine bay appears to be detailed too.
Aluminum radiator $$$, wasted $$$ on the new carburetor & distributor IMO. Probably thought he could get back what he threw into it (8k), Don't believe the rarity BS about derby, & engine rips, I see plenty online.

^^ Yep....I thought about that also. I think he might have realized he's not going to get anywhere close to 8 Grand so he'll keep her for a while...IMO! It still is a nice car though.
