NOT MINE 1976 New Yorker special order 999 car on FB

Been for sale for a while. Very similar to the 999 Newport that Osborn Tramain was selling a while back. Would be cool to have both cars in the same collection.

Looks like it's got the not too uncommon rot hole above the left cornering lamp. Wouldn't be surprised if the quarters are rusty too, explaining why the skirts are in the trunk.

Seen this one before. Was for sale for considerably less a couple of years ago. Looks like no improvements were really made. I think I might’ve inquired but never got a response.

Opted very similar to the 440 74 Newport dad sold in October. I presumed that was ordered for a Cornhusker fan. I don't see a dealer emblem on the trunk of this 76.

I totally forgot that your father owned the 999 Newport for a while. He bought it from Osborn Tramain, then sold it to someone else if I remember correctly.

The Newport is in much better shape than the New Yorker is.

Not sure who dad bought it from . The guy was in Virginia, little house on the back roads.
It was in remarkably nice condition. We had 1 tire kicker through Hemmings. I traded it to a non car guy for services rendered on roofing and siding of my Jersey house. I gave dad 4 Gs.
