1976 Dodge Power Wagon Adventure, it's been an Arizona truck it's entire life until I brought home a couple of weeks ago, I bought it from the original owner, super straight, one repaint back in the early 1990's from the original green and white, never been in an accident, 400 engine has been rebuilt, 4spd., A/C, 4x4, tool box, light bar, runs awesome, heavy duty trailer hitch, brand new tires. $9000 obo. show contact info

That sure is nice,big block,4wd, 3 pedal and A/C.
I have been noticing a big markup on trucks out west coming east.
Been looking at trucks for a buddy in WA state , Montana, Wyoming. You can still get a nice rust free example of a late 60s, early 70s 4wd for 3-4k.
This truck checks a bunch of boxes, when are you picking her up Matt?

Looks like the business NEEDS to buy a new truck...

I can’t afford this guys mark-up. I bet 1 of our European friends could have located this truck before it left AZ and had it shipped home for the asking price.

Worth a try to an onsolicited offer or Service despite the ad-writeup.:D

To me, a 4wd version is a somewhat rare item. Combine that with a 400, 4-speed, and period-correct painted tool box and "wagon wheels", would make it a rare vehicle. "That thing got a RV-2 in it?"

ONE thing about "dry climate" vehicles, especially where there is "wind", is that the dust in the air can get to settle out at the bottom of the doors, where it can collect and hold moisture on the times it MIGHT rain. So, "unexplained rust" can happen. Just something to think about

Back in the '80s, a used car wholesaler/broker turned up with a '69 Chevy C-10 pickup, base model. It had belonged to a school superintendent in far west TX (all of its life). There were rust perforations along the bottom of the door on the driver's side. "Blown-in/accumulated sand" was the culprit as there was no body damage or different shades of faded paint on the vehicle. First time I'd ever considered that.

Prior to that, a friend related that when he worked for an auto supply in Houston, TX, he noticed the large number of black/darker colored vehicles in that hot coastal area. Seems that with a lighter colored vehicle, normal temp swings can result in some light condensate to collect in the nooks and crannies of the bodies . . . and stay there. The darker colors result in higher metal temps, which evaporate the condensate so it doesn't sit and collect and cause issues . . . other than any residual salt from the coastal atmosphere. Something else I'd not considered.

I aint a truck guy .. but i like this one too. I was amazed at the transaction prices the older powerwagons ('50s/'60s) were fetching but did NOT follow the 70's versions.

anyway, thougt not a buyer, and no mileage specified for parts other than engine, seat condition unknown, still $9K atill seems a llittle tall no? i woulda offered $6K for the AZ-Milford rig, and probably been refused, but that number feels "right" for me.

hope it finds a good home

Aside: only found one comparable, 1975, 200K miles, (ad could be outdated, also outta AZ coincidentally). I like the bigger, shinier wheel/tire combo a bit better on this one. 1975 Dodge Power Wagon for sale near Peoria, Arizona 85383
