I have an Imperial 18 ft steel deck already... and yes, it is black. This ad is from a member, and we have talked...:thankyou:

never mind...
Sorry... you know you're invited to help retrieve and/or use the parts if I get it. I want the leftover shell from this one to see what patch panels I can get from the carcass. Maybe some glass too.

I'm hoping he does good enough selling the rest of the stuff I'm not after, that it won't hurt so bad to sell me the shell when he's done.

Inside this little triangle of you, me, and Zac, I think we're covered in a worst case scenario.

Agreed, we just need to find that shop/barn in Haines City and then get Zac to move there so we have a welder, painter, fabricator, etc on site.

Get the brake booster too....unobtainium through Cardone , rock auto, aap/az/Napa etc.

I would grab the idler and pitman arm if they are tight too. Drag link too.

At the moment I'm sitting back and letting him sell whatever he can. There are some parts that are specific to the Imperials I would like to find spares for... this car isn't quite right for that. When he's done I'm hoping to get the carcass cheap and see if we can come to fair terms on the parts that may have value.

I have a limited budget and I'm cheap. I know I have a mental block when it comes to prices, somehow my brain is stuck in the mid 80's when I bought my first 74 for $50 and nice parts were in the bone yards for next to nothing ($200 front clip and I still never managed to get one). Stuff that isn't nice is almost worthless today, but there are certain items that seem to have popularity.

Besides, I can't blow my budget BEFORE I start my junkyard tour and Carlisle trip. The big value of this car for me will come down to I can haul it home reasonably.
