He may just be using the picture of The eBay car. The car on eBay was in Kansas, he's in Salem, I'm assuming North Carolina. Who knows what goes through peoples heads sometimes.

Unless the person bought it for cheap and drove it home, I don't see where the money is being made. Couldn't a drivetrain been located closer?

Probably bought it for derby.

This car was very local to me. Never saw it though.
