1977 Chrysler Newport. Completely original. 2nd owner, still have original Chrysler keys. Only driven in Summer, stored in Winter. No rust, super clean!! Amazing interior. Runs perfectly and has been meticulously maintained. Only 149,000 miles. Has AC but needs to be charged. Also has CD/Stereo and custom speakers in custom built wood boxes so as not to ruin original. $5500 or best offer

This Newport sedan is a quite a rare car.

Out of a total of 157,300 Ny'ers, Newport's, and T&C's (best guess) produced for 1977 only 7840 were Newport sedans.
 
All I can think of is that he couldn't get the stamped ones to seal....
 
This one looks familiar. Doesn't seem to sell at the price.
 
Seems like the sweet spot hovers between 2 grand and 25 hundred for most Formals, whether #5 or #1. The Formal market makes zero sense and is like no other.

That's because everyone that owns one of these owns a piece of gold for the sole reason of it being almost 40yrs old and still driveable. Despite any mechanical or cosmetic shortcomings.
