Hi Guys, I have recently inherited this old Chrysler. My father has passed, and my mother wants the car gone, she considers it a HUGE eye sore even though my father loved it! It's currently in my mother's garage, and she asked me if I could sell it for her. I have been doing a little research on eBay, craigslist, etc. and stumbled across this site, then I noticed the Wagon thread, and realized there actually might be a market for this thing! I quickly threw this post together to see what kind of interest there is, I have to admit I just started the process, but it looks like I've found a great place, where people know and love old Mopars.
129,000 mi. It has a brand new set of tires on it, has to be less than 20 miles on them. The car was sitting for a number of years, my parents moved about 5 or 6 years ago, we got the car running, and had to put tires on it just to get it on the car hauler, then it just sat again. It runs, but not well, The carb was cleaned a few years ago, but we never dropped the tank. Looking under the hood you can tell my dad was fond of it, and a tinkerer. You can see the electric fan, the brass hard line for the radiator overflow, neatly bent and anchored with cushioned clamps, same with the heater hoses, aluminum angle straightener or stiffener on the power steering pump, just little things that no one else would do to an old station wagon.
So, any interest in this beast? I can provide specific pics if needed.
