I wasn't intending to question the legitimacy ( I no authority, just seems odd) of hidden headlights being part of a police package, but why? So let me try this again. With a chance of a malfunction in the headlight covers at a most inopportune time why order hidden headlights on a police package? I know they can be manually opened and left there. If that's what ends up having to be done why get them in the first place?wrong, my first job was in 1977 working as a full service "Clark" gas station. There was a Wisconsin trooper that came in every night with a '77 Dodge Royal Monaco with the hideaway headlights.
