1977 Dodge Royal Monaco Promo

I'd love to see auto manufacturers do a promo like that today.

The recent Hellcat and Dodge Brothers commercials have been the best they've done in decades.

You just helped me like Royal Monaco's a little more.. thanks

This was in the description below the video:
"44,039 of these Full Sized Dodges were produced in it's final year of production. (2206 were police packages) Production ended actually in November or December of 1976 with no cars actually being built in 1977."
That's the first I've seen that the 77 production ended early, has anyone else seen this before?

I don't know how accurate that production statement really is.

I can tell you this....

I contacted Chrysler a few years ago and tried to find out when the last day of production of C-Bodies were and what was the last car built. The official answer from Chrysler was that they didn't know what day or even what month the C-Body stopped production. Chrysler couldn't even tell me what the last C-Body produced was....had to be a NY'er or a Newport (those were the only C-Bodies produced in 1978). There may be one or two guys on this forum that might have the answer but we haven't heard from them. I started a thread a long time ago trying to figure who on FCBO had the latest produced C-Body. I'm not 100% sure but I believe it was the NYB Salon that Patrick has (had) was the latest produced with a date of July 1978.
