1977 New Yorker Commercial

No, that is how long I would last with the san diego cheerleaders. Apparently Bob feels the same way.....

What was the question?

I guess he (Jack Jones) was a big deal and popular with the old farts that were buying the big Chryslers back in the day. Disco was big time then. Of course I hated disco....I was listening to Bob Seger, Steely Dan, Jefferson Starship, Joe Walsh, Talking Heads, Supertramp, George Thorogood & the Destroyers, etc...........and I'm still listening to them.

He's the reason we call them ''Formals''.
Actually, it all stated back with Allpar and it caught on...

Alright now I'm confused. So only the 4dr. hardtop NYB's and '74-'75 Imp. 4drs are ''Formals''. No 2drs are.

What about hardtop 4dr. sedan Newports.? same roof line but no Lavaiere straps.
:confused2:

ANY C-body, any make, any model, any style from 1974 - 1978 are the "Formal" years.
But that's only how I express them. Joey thinks they are the latter years.
