1978 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham, Four door hardtop. 20,200 miles, 440 V-8 with lean burn replaced with a Edlebrock 4-bbl carb and electronic ignition. Originally a Chrysler Dealer owned car (Bales Chrysler Plymouth - Jeffersonville, Indiana). 2nd owner took it to car shows, then I acquired it in 2017. Bought at 17,368 miles - now showing 20,200. Fully loaded - power windows, locks, dual power front seats, AM/FM - CB radio, Trailer Pulling Package (frame hitch, factory trailer wiring and trailer connection harness, transmission cooler, power steering cooler).
Everything works - Including the Manual - non- Auto Temp II heating / defrost / AC. R-12 Freon, but system has a leak that needs to be addressed. Unobtainable faulty plastic windshield wiper cam has been repaired with a welded steel construction. Older components have been replaced, headlights, dash and interior lamps and bulbs, battery, tires, shocks, hoses, rubber brake line hoses, dual exhaust with chrome tips. Interior is all leather, clean, no rips, tears, popped seams. All power options function - CB radio will receive but not transmit.
The car also has the two shop manuals, sale brochure, owners manuals, and the Dealer Ordering Book with fabrics, paint chips and details for the 1978 Chryslers. The orginial window Monaray Sticker is still in the rear window.
This is a perfect car for someone to drive and maintain. Always garage kept, with car cover. $12,000 or Best Offer.
