The car is in Red Deer, Alberta. Auction ends at 5 pm eastern time on Saturday (1 day 21 hours as I type this).

Current bid is $2000 CAD.

That's a killer colour combination! Very subtle for the '70s; it reminds me more of what you'd see on a late '80s or early '90s luxury car, trying to look more European.

That right there would be my perfect combo on a 78 NYB. I expect it will top $15K

$6000 now

edit...
9K this afternoon
I wonder if that is from the Peter Swainson Collection? The Dealer/Owner of Southside Chrysler in Red Deer. He has been liquidating a lot of his collect lately.

There was also a 1963 Chrysler 300 "Sport" convertible at the same auction, 383 4-bbl auto, it sold for $13k (CAD + fees). A lot of cars didn't meet reserve. A '69 Camaro convert sold for $42k. A 1987 GMC 1/2 ton short box (I didn't see engine size in the description) sold for $42.5k. A '71 GMC pickup sold for $63k. A '76 Ford Bronco sold for $111k.
