I have a pair of really nice tail lights assemblies for the '78 Chrysler Brougham(I think) possibly New Yorker, chrome excellent ,lens have no cracks or chips, complete with light sockets. I removed them from a wrecked Chrysler early 90's that I'd bought for drivetrain been stored inside.no need for them.for 40 year old talights hard to find better. I do not have the bottom halfs.
$60.00 for them plus shipping. if this is wrong place to post for sale- my apologies and may
delete if incorrect site.

I am hoping this will help you rehome them... 78 was one year only with a vertical rib in the center.

Yours look like they are without the rib, so 74-75 Imperial and 76-77 New Yorker

The price is fair for undamaged lenses and unpitted pot metal, but that is their real selling feature. These lenses, for whatever reason, hold up well and are very available used... so the right buyer is likely looking for something better than what they have.

I have a good personal supply in various conditions... but if you ever make it to the Garlits event in Ocala or Carlisle, track me down... I'm a sucker for nice used parts.

they have the silvered ribs they are faded.
Garlits museum -a bucket list priority of places to go- he has a couple of my pictures in his museum. pictures of him at Kingdon drag strip Lodi Calif. in front of the Kingdon drag strip sigh 1960.

They would be a lot easier to sell if you had the other half of them too.

How often do you do a “disc clean-up” or “defragment”?

Not to hijack this thread, but what has anyone done to restore the silver or argent vertical rib? What paint was used, color, technique? There are several items on a New Yorker that will need this touch up.

Silver nail polish.

Yep, time for a new one then.

i got the windows 7 dell laptop that i'm typing this with from the electronics bin at my local trash transfer station. no excuses for not upgrading. considering that your tail lights are worth more than a decent used computer, maybe someone would trade.

thanks, I am not real computer savvy I did buy a new 10 version of windows and could not get to AOL my isp on it and sent it back. I have a second computer a new Acer- trying to set it up when new I erased all of its start up functions trying to limit desired start up sites and have a dead computer s to show for it.
I live far out in the boonies and not sure what I need.I understand cars-not computers.I'm s bit leery of buying a used computer,I'll ask around (the three people I know in the area.)
