Seller's Description
Rare 1978 Lincoln continental station wagon. Has been in a barn for 15 years but she’s out and ready for a new home. Motor turns over but that’s as far as I have gotten. Titled as a Lincoln not a mercury. Price will go up the more work I do to it. Willing to trade for cars, 4 wheelers boats , razor or what ever. If you see this add it is still for sale.

Nice, but must be a conversion job as Lincoln didn't make wagons.

That said, I'd happily drive it if it were sorted, but more than a few $$$$ to sort out. Hope it gets saved.

Cadillac did the same with several years of their fleetwoods, sent a few out to be converted to wagons.. they rusted like crazy though.. poor Q/A at the shops that did the jobs.. I like it though, it’s very rare and worth saving IMO. Certainly be a conversation piece at a car show.

I keep trying to post the facbook link, but get a lot of blank space, like this:

My favorite by far as Cadillacs are concerned: The Hess and Eisenhardt View Master Station wagons of the mid 50s.

A Taurus *** end graphed onto a Town Car. Helluva way to kill a classy-lookin car. :BangHead:
Actually, the tail gate is from a Roadmaster wagon and the tail lamps are from an F-150.
The craftsmanship is top notch but they, unfortunately used the existing rear doors so the lines are clunky and ruined.
