I stand corrected.......this is the best 78 Ny'er I ever seen! The Lean Burn is still in operation on this one. The undercarriage is immaculate. I would die for those roof rails seals. And the hood ornament. Hell, I'm drooling all over the keyboard!!!!!!!!!

Calm down Bob. I know of at least two that are way nicer. I was in negotiations about 6 months ago with the owner of an 8k mile Salon of museum quality. The original tires were taken off when new and are in storage. The sale came to an impass because I wouldn't have dared drive it so what was the point. First (and probably only) time I didn't buy a car because it was too perfect. I never would have enjoyed it

Was that car Spinnaker White? Did you get a chance to get any pictures of it? I wrote on different thread earlier today that I saw a low mileage NY'er, I think it was less than 10k miles, 2 years ago at the Survivor tent Carlisle. It was Spinnaker White.

Nice, but they call that "mammoth"?. There are cars that would make that look like a mid-sized family sedan. Guess when compared with today's run-of-the-mill puke that is a truly massive car.

No. It was a 1978 silver Salon edition. Maybe about a dozen people or less know about it. He doesn't do shows. It would add miles to the car. he basically doesn't want the speedometer to move any more than from where it is. I would not have been the proper caretaker for it.
The underside and the engine compartment of the above green car is a disgrace for a $12,000 car. I'm sceptical of the 23k mile claim. My 75k mile underside when I got it was cleaner than that.

all of this guys stuff is overpriced........you know that when you see them with the same cars for sale 1-2 yrs later, they have got to be too much $.

Has ANYONE ever seen a car priced at true fair market value from ANY dealer, ever?????
One? Just one?
I'm waiting.....
Bueler?
Bueler?
Bueler?

These dealers won't back down a nickel from their BIN price. Same crap at Carlisle. A lot of them will be taking their cars back home. On the other hand, prices on the outrageous B's and E's are coming down at all the major venues....B-J, Mecum, etc.
