1978 wipers

hi i have a 78 newyorker. my wipers are inoperable due to them not existing i do not have any thing. no motor, no arms, no arms to motor piece. i only have the wiper arms. my question is (besides wiring i have no issue rewiring the system) can i put a 74-77 wiper system on my 78 to eliminate the impossible to find 78 pieces

I have the complete wiper system out of a 1976 Newyorker. It is a three speed system, and has new pivot bushings installed. If you are interested send me a PM. Bill

If you install parts from the earlier cars you lose the intermittent feature. If you can locate used 1978 parts the "impossible" to find wiper cam bushings are now available. I have had them reproduced out of much better material and have them in stock. My profile picture shows them. It's your car but I always try to keep things as original as possible.
